I just read Kathi's post, she put up pictures of the finished ponds that she has made for the PIF swap. They are so beautiful, I’m so glad that I joined in.
Kathi always puts so much attention and energy into each project. I always enjoy watching them come together and I’m not surprised that so many others (401 followers) enjoy watching her work also.
I still need 3 more people to join my PIF swap. I’m working on special gifts for Drora and Rachel now. If you would like me to send you a gift also, go to my posting about the PIF swap and follow the rules.
Rachel if you would please email me your address so that I can send your gift. If all goes well I will have your gift ready next week.
I'm still not able to comment, it's getting very frustrating. I hope that they fix this soon.

It’s All Bits And Pieces
I thought I would show you some of the mini things that I’ve collected over the years, some I got over 20 years ago. I have more somewhere, these are just some that I could find right now. I don't remember where I got most of them. The duck painting is one of my favorite pieces, I bought it at a miniature show about 15 years ago. It is a real oil painting, painted with the tinies brushes imaginable.
Here are a few little things that I’ve made recently.
Playing with clay
A few Easter things
Some books, I know that I’ve made a lot more but some are not so well done and others are hiding somewhere.
And here are some things that I’ve bought more recently.
I found Jaynie in a package with a few other dolls and things on Ebay and my husband bought them for me.
Everything else here I found at a miniatures shop at a flea market not far from my home. It’s the only place that I’ve found in my area that sells actual dollhouse things. I love the details in the flowers and the cat. I also bought a poinsettia, its packed with my Christmas decorations, I’ll show you that another time.
BTW: If you visit Bonnie at Mber Woods Dollhouses & Miniatures at the http://www.raynhamflea.com/ tell her that you read my blog and she will give you a discount.

Blogger Problem
I have not been able to comment on anyone's blogs because blogger will not keep me logged in when I go to the blogs. It seems like lots of others are having similar issues. I'm getting frustrated, I can't count how many times I have logged in, in the last 24 hrs. If you are having the same problem you can't leave a comment to let me know.
Never As Simple As It Seemed
First I finally finished Jaynie’s chair. First I stained the feet and didn’t like how they looked. Then I painted them, glued them on and they just were not right. So I searched through my wooden beads found some that got glued to the chair. Now Jaynie’s happy.
Second, I started working on a hutch. First I took it apart a bit, I took the draw front off. While I was doing that the top section came apart from the bottom so I figured that it would probably be easier to handle that way.
I sanded it a bit to round and soften some of the edges. I started painting with a light wash of a cream color (Apple Barrel -Vanilla). I wanted the wood grain to still show through a little. I put on a few layers, some parts took more than others to make them look even. Then I painted the top, bottom and the draw front a sage green.
I like the colors so far, it still needs some touch ups. (Don’t look too close.) I still need to paint the counter shelf, I’m thinking a darker green, I may try marbling it (using Casey’s chest top as inspiration). I’m also going to try to build a working draw and I think that I may also add feet. What do you think so far?

Good Intensions
I swear I really meant to post every couple of days and show you lots of pictures of things I’m working on. I could list lots of reasons (or excuses, depending on how you look at it), I don’t want to do that. I am going to ask you to please bear with me. Hopefully I will be able to actually keep up with my intensions soon.

I Have a Confession
I’m a sorter, my husband says that it’s a real problem. I love buying mixed packages of all kinds of things, but I can’t just leave them all mixed together. A while ago Casey of http://caseymini.blogspot.com/2011/02/this-that-and-other-thing.html
showed a bag of tiny polished pebbles that she bought at Walmart. So my next visit I looked for them, found them, bought them, brought them home and sorted them.
There were lots of greens, browns, yellows and whites, and a few in bright colors. I found that there were some nice little round stones, this is what I did with them.
Have you lost your marbles lately?
There are also some tiny little egg shapes that I will put aside. You never know, I may make a teeny tiny Easter basket or something some day.
I started working on one of the Michael's hutches, not much to show yet, but will be soon.

BTW I can't figure out why the text is different sizes, spaces got added and taken
away and things got all jumbled up. I fixed things the best I know how.
