Pinterest Mess Up

I'm frustrated with Pinterest today.  They have made more changes that don't make any sense and have changed my creatively ordered boards into Chaos.

If you have been by to visit My Pinterest  in the past you would have seen many boards grouped together by subjects in a manner that I find pleasing and usable.  I also hope that you found it interesting.

Now all you will find is a Disordered  Jumbled Mess.

It seems that Pinterest has decided that we want Our boards organized (or in my opinion disorganized) by the boards that where most recently pinned to.

I tried to move my boards into order again but they keep returning to this jumbled format.  I'm not happy with this change.  I don't know who would like this better.   It not only makes Pinterest look bad but it makes it difficult to find a board that I want to look at.   I don't want to have to blindly search through all my boards, I want to be able to find it where I put it.

I'm interested in your view, comments are welcomed

Seeing Red

No, I'm not angry, I'm quite happy.

I've been organizing some red glass beads, trying to plan a stringing project.  All of the dark reds together looked so nice that I dug out the camera to take a few pictures.

I thought that you may like to see them.

I hope that you like Red,
Red and more Red.

I think that the pictures came out quite nice,
seeing that I only used one work light that I already had set up to light it.

I really like this one.
The plastic string that the beads are on get kinks that made them curve - so I didn't fight them,  I used them.

Thanks You For Visiting,   Mary

Goodbye my sweet Spot

We said our final goodbyes to our Spot this morning.

This is an old picture, this is how I will always remember him, young, strong and healthy.

He was a BIG part of our family for over 20 years and he will be in our hearts forever.

He was the sweetest creature and gave us so much love and happiness, he is so missed.

Hopefully I will be back soon with a happier posting.

Snowed Under

It seems like it has been snowing here for a month.  Oh ya, that's because it has.

I stepped out to my front steps to take a few pictures.  That's the farthest that I've been in weeks.

This is my front yard - Snow.

Snow, Snow and a path dug through the snow.

And a picture of my car.

You say you don't see a car.

That's because it is under that huge pile of Snow.

We hired someone to help dig out my husbands car, mine will not be moving for a while.

And another picture,  of Snow

and a path through the Snow.

If you like snow, you're welcome to come take as much as you would like,

 I've had enough.

Many weather records have been broken in our area, most snow fall in a season (and we are not close to the end), most snow in a week, most snow on the ground (we beat the 'winter of 78') and then there is the cold, lowest daytime high temperature (I think it was 5 degrees), lowest low temp at -5 with a wind chill of -20, and probably a few more.  Brr.

I'm staying inside warm and dry.

Merry Christmas

I love Christmas lights, so we always enjoy taking a trip to La Salette Shrine , in Attleboro, MA, this time of the year.  We got bundled up in layers of warm clothes and took a trip last week.

I hope you enjoy seeing a few of my pictures, they really don't do it all justice, it really is quite magical

There are so many beautiful lights and decorations every where you look

And you may even believe that you have seen Santa taking in the lovely display

No,  It's not Santa, that's my hubby

And on our way home we happened upon a wonderful little neighborhood

Off of Route 140 in Norton, MA

So we stopped and took a few photos

We were really touched when we noticed that each house had a pink ribbon in their display.

I found a  Sun Chronicle article ,  if you would like to see more pictures and read the story about the display.

I hope that your days are Merry and Bright

Bye to MJ - Purple Give-Away

MJ said Good Bye to us last week.

She dressed in a new purple outfit for the trip to her next host.

Jaynie and I are happy to see that she made it safely

and is now with  Gwen  in South Carolina

We will be looking in to see her next adventures.

Do you like Purple?

While MJ was here, she and Jaynie went through many boxes and found lots of purple items.

So many that I think that it's a good time for a give-away to share some.

I've put together 2 packages of little purple things - If you would like to participate:

1)  Be or become a follower of this blog
2)  Leave a comment on this posting.

1 chance will be given to any new followers
2 chances to any one who is already a follower 12/11/13
and everyone who posted a comment on one of the postings on MJ's visit with us 10/23 - 11/28 will be given an extra chance.

2 names will be drawn next Thursday 12/19/13     -   Good Luck
